Austria is a perfect place to learn German, a language rapidly gaining in popularity and significance in the world. Students from all over the globe are coming every year to Austria to attend the different programs that create the conditions most conducive to cultural and social interaction, to broaden their knowledge - and to have fun. Learning during the holidays does not mean cramming all day. There are also many excellent sports and recreational facilities. The University of Vienna's Summer School Program, for example, is located directly on the shores of Lake Wolfgang in the picturesque Salzkammergut region.
Not only German can be studied intensely during the summer. Many other academic lectures on the different fields of Law, Politics, Science, Economics, History, Art, Music and even Human Rights are being offered.
And everyone who participates in the University of Vienna's Summer School Program earns an extra bonus: Each student will receive a ticket to attend a performance of the world-famous Salzburg Music Festival.
